چکیده
Pervious concrete (also called porous concrete) is one of the most promising sustainable and green building materials today. This study examined high-strength pervious ordinary-strength reinforced with steel fiber or glass fiber. A total fifteen mixtures normal- concretes were used. The goal that 28-day compressive strength be above 42 MPa porosity as close to 15% possible achieve technical specifications. Both (1%, 2%) (0.25%, 0.5%) investigated in water permeability, porosity, strength, flexural elastic modulus, toughness tests. test results show both ordinary fibers added, permeability coefficient are increased compared control group. for high-strength, fiber-reinforced two aggregate sizes meets requirements ACI specification structural concrete. In addition, specimen H1-S2 (2% fiber) has highest 52.8 at age 28 days. also increases age. However, did not follow this trend due large variation quality different mixtures. have a certain degree improvement toughness, effect better After reaches peak value, there still about 30% bearing capacity, it gradually decreases until completely destroyed.

Mechanical Behavior of Hybrid Fiber Reinforced High Strength Concrete with Graded Fibers
Brittleness, which was the inherent weakness in High Strength Concrete (HSC), can be avoided by reinforcing the concrete with discontinuous fibers. Reinforcing HSC with more than one fiber is advantageous in an overall improvement of the mechanical performance of the composite. In this experimental study, Hybrid Fiber Reinforced High Strength Concrete (HyFR-HSC) mixes were formed by blending si...

This study investigated the effects of high temperature exposure on the compressive, tensile, and flexural strengths of concrete containing glass fiber. A total of 108 cubic specimens (150 mm × 150 mm × 150 mm), cylindrical specimens (300 mm × 150 mm), and prismatic specimens (500 mm × 150 mm × 150 mm) were prepared for compressive, tensile, and flexural strength testing, respectively. The spec...
متن کاملComparative Study of Steel and Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete Composites
Concrete is most widely used construction material in the world. Fiber reinforced concrete (FRC) is a concrete in which small and discontinuous fibers are dispersed uniformly. The fibers used in FRC may be of different materials like steel, G.I., carbon, glass, aramid, asbestos, polypropylene, jute etc. The addition of these fibers into concrete mass can dramatically increase the compressive st...
متن کاملMechanical Behavior of Steel Fiber-Reinforced Concrete Beams Bonded with External Carbon Fiber Sheets
This study investigates the mechanical behavior of steel fiber-reinforced concrete (SFRC) beams internally reinforced with steel bars and externally bonded with carbon fiber-reinforced polymer (CFRP) sheets fixed by adhesive and hybrid jointing techniques. In particular, attention is paid to the load resistance and failure modes of composite beams. The steel fibers were used to avoiding the rip...
متن کاملThe Elastic Modulus of Steel Fiber Reinforced Concrete (SFRC) with Random Distribution of Aggregate and Fiber
The present paper offers a meso-scale numerical model to investigate the effects of random distribution of aggregate particles and steel fibers on the elastic modulus of Steel Fiber Reinforced Concrete (SFRC). Meso-scale model distinctively models coarse aggregate, cementitious mortar, and Interfacial Transition Zone (ITZ) between aggregate, mortar, and steel fibers with their respective materi...
